Through dance, poetry, and stunning characterization, Uýra confronts historical racism, transphobia, and environmental destruction, while emphasizing the interdependence of humans and the environment. Co-presented with Latino Public Broadcasting (LPB) and Peril and Promise, a public media initiative from The WNET Group.

The Borah Committee at the University of Idaho, which hosts an annual three-day symposium for the university and community related to peace and the outlawry of war in honor of Senator William Borah. Each September, we bring national and international speakers on a topic the committee has chosen related to those broad themes. This September our theme is “Peace and Security in the 21st Century.” We often screen a documentary to kick off the symposium.
